Crystalloids B.V., hereafter: "Crystalloids" or "we", processes personal data of our (potential) customers and partners. We do this to help our (potential) customers to provide the best possible experience and to achieve our objectives.
Crystalloids B.V. is responsible for the processing of your personal data and therefore classified as Data Processor.
In this privacy statement, we explain why and how we process your personal data.
WHO IS CRYSTALLOIDS
Crystalloids help companies become customer-focused, data-driven, and predictive enterprises by creating order in the data chaos, applying advanced analytics, and integrating systems and applications.

PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS
Crystalloids process your personal data by using our products, services and/or because you provide this information to us. This data can be combined with previously obtained data via other Crystalloids services and/or application forms. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process, among other things:
- First and last name
- Address, place of residence
- Telephone number
- E-mail address, opt-in for e-mailings
- Gender
- Company
- Position
- Contact history
- IP address, Cookie ID (information on our cookie policy can be found in the cookie statement on this page)
- Date, time, location internet session
- Internet browser and device type
- Interests
- Website behaviour
- If you receive emails from us, we register your interactions (open and click behaviour)
- Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by signing up for the newsletter, in correspondence and by telephone
SPECIAL AND / OR SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA
Our website and / or services do not intend to collect any kind of sensitive data. Data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age is not what we wish to collect. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we can not check if a visitor is older than 16. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this consent, please contact us.
GOALS OF PROCESSING
Crystalloids process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To process your registration and/or payment after you have purchased a product or service.
- To call or e-mail you if necessary to carry out our services.
- To deliver products and services that you have purchased.
- To inform you about (changes/software updates of) our services and products that you have previously purchased.
- To inform you about other products or services offered by Crystalloids.
- To send newsletters and mailings for which you have signed up.
- To send invitations to participate in research or events related to the Crystalloids product and service offers.
- To improve our website based on your surfing behaviour and to adapt our range of products and services to your preferences. We only do this with your permission.
AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING
Crystalloids do not use automated decision-making and/or profiling.
LEGAL GROUNDS
Crystalloids process your data based on the following legal grounds:
- Performing a legal obligation.
- Entering or executing an agreement.
- With your permission.
- Carrying out the legitimate (marketing) interest: to provide the service you requested, to get to know our (potential) customers better and to tailor our offer to the wishes of our target group.
PROCESSORS AND THIRD PARTIES
For the implementation of our services, we approach service providers. This can be third-parties, like tax authorities, but most of all service providers who process personal data for us. For example, we work together with an ESP, a cloud environment, ERP system and Google Analytics.
These are not 'third recipients' but 'processors'. These processors do not use the data for their own purposes and process the personal data exclusively in accordance with the assignment of Crystalloids. With the companies that process your data, we conclude a processor's agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Crystalloids remain responsible for these processing operations.
To measure the business use of our website, we use services of Leadinfo from Rotterdam. This service shows us company names and addresses based on the IP-addresses of our visitors. The IP-address is not included in this.
SECURITY
Crystalloids take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate organisational and technical measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. We are NEN-ISO27001 certified. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us.
RIGHTS OF THE PERSONS CONCERNED
Crystalloids represent all your privacy rights:
- Information and inspection: You have the right to information and access the personal data that we process from you. We are happy to tell you how and why we process this data.
- Rectification: You have the right to have your data changed if the data is not (longer) correct. Do you feel that we have the wrong information about you? Let us know then we will adjust it.
- Right to be forgotten: You have the right to ask us to delete the personal data we have from you. We may not be able to completely delete your personal data, because we still have to process some data for other purposes. For example administration or other legal obligations.
- Restriction: If you feel that we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, then you can also have that processing limited.
- Objection: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. If you object to the use of your personal data to inform you about our activities and similar ("direct marketing") processing, we always honour this. You can prevent the further receipt of (marketing) e-mails from Crystalloids by clicking on the unsubscribe link in every e-mail you receive from us. Your data will then no longer be used for direct marketing purposes. If you object to other forms of processing your personal data, we will assess whether we can meet your objection.
- Transferability: You have the right to transfer your personal data. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal information we hold to you or another organisation mentioned by you in a standard file format.
- Revoke permission: You have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to give consent for processing after you have withdrawn before. For example, for receiving e-mailings or adding cookies to your browsers.
PROSECUTION OF RIGHTS
You can prosecute your rights by contacting us. To make sure that the request has been made by you, we may ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We respond as quickly as possible, latest within a week from your request.
SUPERVISOR
Crystalloids would like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisor, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP).
